TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Brief and Revisions
The fee quoted in the estimate provided to you is based on the brief (including concept, scope, assignment details, schedules, deadlines and project period) agreed upon by the Client and Zing at the time of project confirmation (“the brief”).
The fee quoted includes two rounds of revisions based on the brief unless otherwise specified. Additional revision requests may incur charges.
All change or revision requests must be within the scope of the brief. Any additional work resulting from a change to the brief will be charged according to Zing’s standard rate schedule.
The time needed to fulfil revision requests will vary depending on the scope and nature of such requests. We will work with the Client to agree on these times.
Once an assignment is confirmed, the Client agrees to pay for the full scope of the brief regardless of whether they decide to execute all of the deliverables.
It is the Client’s responsibility to check the work and request revisions or changes accordingly. Once a project is signed off or after the end of the project period, Zing will not be responsible for any errors that appear in the published version of the material.
Project Period
The project period is the time specified in the brief during which all work shall be completed. Unless otherwise specified, the project period will automatically end 15 business days after the last deliverable within the scope is submitted to the client.
The Client is responsible for providing all of the information and materials for us to carry out the assignment by the agreed time. If Client is unable to do so, the deadline must be revised.
All revision requests must be made within the project period. We will strive to fulfill such requests before the end of the project period or within a reasonable time thereafter, depending on when these requests are made and the scope of the revisions. After the project period ends, any additional request will be considered a new brief and will be quoted and billed accordingly.
Once we reach the end of the project period, Zing will consider the project complete and issue the invoice.
Requests to change the project period (for example, requests to stop, pause and restart a project outside of originally agreed project period) are subject to a project restart fee of no less than 20% of the original approved quotation, and also subject to our team’s availability. Such requests must be made to Zing within the project period.
Rush Policy
Standard
Our normal office hours are Monday to Fridays, excluding weekends and public holidays, from 9:00am – 6:00pm.
Our standard delivery time per language is 2 business days for up to 500 words, or 4 days for up to 1000 words, and so on. All assignments requiring delivery before this standard schedule will incur a rushed charge on top of the original quoted price:
Within 2 working days: 20%
Same business day: 50%
Outside business hours*: 100%
*Includes overnight, weekend and public holidays
For Zing Monthly Package Clients
Our normal office hours are Monday to Fridays, excluding weekends and public holidays, from 9:00am – 6:00pm.
Our standard delivery time per language is 2 business days for up to 500 words, or 4 days for up to 1000 words, and so on. All assignments requiring delivery before this standard schedule will incur a rushed charge/additional credits on top of the original credit deduction.
Within 16 business hours: 2x credits
Within same business day or within 8 business hours*: 2x credits + 1 additional credit deduction
Outside business hours**: 3x credits

Cancellation and Refunds
Once a project has been approved via a signed quotation or contract, Client requests to cancel projects will be subject to a cancellation fee of 30% of the agreed project fee, or the portion of the work already carried out by Zing, whichever is higher.
We do not issue any refunds for approved projects. Project scopes agreed upon with confirmed Purchase Order are not eligible for refund.
Quotation and Billing
This quotation is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of proposal.
All project quotations have a minimum fee of one working hour.
A 50% deposit is required for all projects exceeding HK$10,000. The deposit will be billed once the quotation is approved and must be paid before the work commences.
All due payment must be settled within 45 calendar days from the issue date of the invoice. Overdue invoices will be charged a fee of 10% of the total invoice amount for every 15 calendar days that the invoice is overdue.
Expenses incurred for outside supplier costs, such as design, printing, finished art, mechanical production, photography, display materials, mail-drop services, monitoring of electronic media coverage, media entertainment and services purchased from outside of Zing will be billed at net costs to client, plus a standard agency markup of 20% as a handling surcharge. All such expenses will be quoted separately and incurred only upon confirmation from the client.
Privacy and Copyright
All source documents will be held strictly confidential.
The copyright of all written materials remains with Zing until the client has paid in full for the project.
Zing reserves the right to display all work completed for client projects as part of our portfolio, unless the Client requests otherwise.
