How does the credit system work?

• Credits are deducted each time we complete a client assignment based on the below:

Copywriting* 1 credit covers ~50 words

Translation** 1 credit covers ~100 source words

Proofreading*** 1 credit covers ~150 words

* Requests for more creative copywriting, such as catchy advertising copy, may incur more credits. We will confirm the number of credits required before we start work.

** Proofreading means reviewing your existing content for grammar and spelling, plus polishing to ensure clarity, while maintaining the overall style and tone of voice of your content. This does not include rewriting, adding content, or making changes to your messages.

• The minimum deduction for each individual request is 1 credit.

• Credit usage is recorded on a real-time tracker that you can access at any time.

• We will confirm with you the estimated number of credits needed before every assignment.

We have assignments of varying lengths, complexity, and research requirements. Is the credit system one-size-fits-all?

• We created the credit system to address this exact question. Credits are purposely designed as small, buildable units, letting us bill you the same way (based on assignment volume) whether it’s a copywriting, translation, editing or proofreading request. There is no need to re-negotiate project fees or unit costs for each new individual assignment. It's a hit with our clients!

How soon can you deliver an assignment?

• Our standard delivery time is 1 working days per language (assignments under 250 words). As always, if you have a special or rush request, just tell us! We will try our best to help if we are available. Rushed assignments will incur extra credits per our rush policy.

Must all credits be used up each month?

• No. Our credit system gives you the flexibility to allocate your available credits during the contract period. Quiet month? Unused credits can be carried over for one calendar month. Swamped? Feel free to advance next month’s credits. The only thing we ask is that you let us know as early as possible about larger assignments in your pipeline – this ensures we have enough writers on board to meet your needs.

• All credits should be used within the contract period. Leftover credits at the end of the contract period are eligible for carrying over if the client signs a new contract with the same duration and terms as the previous contract, otherwise they will be forfeited. Credits can only be carried over for one contract.

What if we use up all our credits before the contract period ends?    

• Great! Once you settle the fees for the full contract period, we will help you create a new monthly plan.

Can I cancel an assignment?

• Need to change the brief or cancel an assignment? Please tell us within 4 hours of briefing us (that's counting from the time we receive the full brief and materials from you). After that, you may be charged for the work we have already done per the original brief. For same business day turnaround assignments, we will not be able to accept cancellations.

Billing details

• We will send you your monthly invoice once you sign the contract, and continue to bill you each month during the package duration.

• The package is based on a 3, 6 or 12-month commitment, and you will be billed, and agree to pay for the full scope of the package whether or not the credits are executed.
